ADA’s Turn Iowa Blues Fest

ADA members demonstrating for health care.

We are pleased to announce the First Annual Turn Iowa Blues Fest, hosted by Americans for Democratic Action Iowa (ADA Iowa)!  On Sunday, November 3rd, 2019, Iowans from across the Cedar Valley region and progressives from around the country will come together to support local food vendors, enjoy regional blues bands and, most importantly, hear from 2020 Democratic Presidential Candidates and Candidate vying for important Iowa elections such as the U.S. Senate.  We hope you can join us in sponsoring or attending the founding year of the ADA Iowa Turn Iowa Blues Fest.

For 15 years, ADA Iowa has worked across the region to advocate for progressive policies and political change.   Since our founding we have activated over 15,000 Iowans to self-advocate for policies and programs that improve the overall health and welfare of Iowa’s working and middle classes.   ADA’s electoral program has included over 100 successful candidate forums including a Gubernatorial forum attended by nearly 400 residents. Our voter contact efforts have reached hundreds of thousands of Iowans.

Now ADA Iowa will be expanding our event repertoire by inviting local businesses, food vendors, bands, student activists, labor leaders, and presidential contenders to come together with Cedar Valley residents for a day of food, fun and politics.  We hope you can join us in kicking off a yearly tradition for the Cedar Valley region and sponsor ADA’s Turn Iowa Blues Fest.
